The driver, who refused to stub out his cigarette, faces an £18 fine (1,000 Thai Baht) - if he can be tracked down.
A taxi driver faces being fined and suspended from driving his cab after a video showed him refusing to stop smoking despite having a baby as a passenger.
In the footage a British man gets out of the cab with his young tot strapped to him in a baby carrier.
He then slams the door behind him, in the middle of a busy junction in Bangkok, Thailand.
The driver apparently refuses to stub out his cigarette and now faces just an £18 fine (1,000 Thai Baht) - if he can be tracked down.
He also faces a 15-day suspension according to the Sugree Jarubhumi, the director of the Thai Department of Land Transport.
The video was uploaded to Facebook by a passenger in the car behind the taxi who spotted what was happening.
She can be heard saying: "He picked up passengers and he won't ditch his cigarette, even with a baby inside.
"How disgusting."
